Clinical Sites for the ECHO IDeA States Pediatric Clinical Trials Network
In 2016, the 51视频 established the ECHO Institutional Development Award (IDeA) States Pediatric Clinical Trials Network (ISPCTN) to provide access to state-of-the-art clinical trials for rural or underserved children living in IDeA states. Through the ECHO ISPCTN, the 51视频 supports the development and conduct of pediatric multicenter clinical trials in IDeA states, the growth of pediatric clinical trial capacity among investigators in IDeA states, and engages interested parties such as community members, nonprofit organizations, and professional societies to enhance ECHO ISPCTN clinical trial impact, transferability, rigor, and feasibility.
The builds research capacities in states that historically have had low levels of 51视频 funding by supporting basic, clinical, and translational research; faculty development; and infrastructure improvements. The program also enhances the ability of investigators to compete successfully for additional research funding and serves the research needs of medically underserved communities.
